Aged

a poem

Aged

Recollection of things within concealed corners

Even the murkiest dark nook and cranny wouldn’t be far enough

No worry no fear

Time has come ever near

It picks and scrapes at my vault of thoughts

Stripping me of myself and my memories

Layer by layer I grow decrepit

It’s a beautiful thing on the contrary

It’s nice to be lost

Lovely for my crown to be empty
