Review: Dragon China Restaurant

Gian Valentin-Fontanez, 1st Semester Staff

Have you ever wanted to have authentic Chinese cuisine in the comfort of your home? Well if so, this is not the place for you to go. Despite the 4.3 star rating it has on Google, the food at Dragon China is well, not so great to say the least. The orange chicken wasn’t even orange, it was brown and had little to no flavoring. The rice was pretty much the only good thing that came out of the meal. It was pretty good fried rice and had big portions for what you were paying. The crab rangoon was very runny, almost a liquid like paste texture and was served cold. The staff was very rude and I felt guilty just for ordering something from the menu. Very unwelcoming feel to the place, no seating, little to no decoration and very cheap looking. On top of everything, the pricing overall really wasn’t that great, especially with the quality of the food. The wontons were $8 for 3 and all the main dishes were $10 to $15. Overall, I give Dragon China a 2 out of 10 star rating. I would not recommend it if you’re looking for something edible.
