My name is Owen Henderson and I am a 10th grade writer for the GHS Dukes Dispatch. I have been in Virginia my whole life and plan to stay here until after high school. I am in the second semester of journalism class and this is my first time taking journalism. I signed up for journalism to branch out and find my career path after high school. I also have an older sister who took the journalism class, so that was another factor that was involved in me choosing this class. In school, I strive to be the person other people can count on. I plan to write about sports, and that is the topic I am most interested in. I also love my grandmother’s cooking!
