My name is Kalin Wilson, and I am a journalism staff member at the GHS. My goals are to complete high school and fulfill my future dreams such as being a professional tattoo artist and a piercer, as well as running my own shop. I grew up in Houston but as I turned 5, I came to Gloucester with the rest of my family. I am a staff member of Journalism for the first semester, as well as being my first time here. The reason why I joined journalism was because I’ve seen my family always file something and write from memory which was fascinating to me when I was younger, so throughout elementary and middle school, I decided to take extra time with writing to finally get to where I can be. During my classmates’ and my journey through writing, I’m willing to make sure all of our voices are heard on the most important chapters of our lives, opinions and other related topics. Besides my school life, I like to sleep, draw out tattoo sketches, listen to music, and admire nature while we’re still on earth.
