My name is Avery Helbig, and I am a freshman at GHS. My goal is to complete high school and go to college to either be an athletic trainer or a meteorologist. I’m from Virginia and I’ve lived here my whole life. I’m a staff member for this journalism class, second semester and it’s my first time taking this class. I signed up for journalism because I always enjoyed watching the news and I thought that I could make my own news and stories. I’m going to make sure that everyone’s voices are heard and that everyone’s opinions are heard. Besides my school life, I like to sleep, shop, listen to music, and fangirl over Taylor Swift.
