Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Offers Fans A Magical Experience

The new Doctor Strange movie just came out in theaters recently, here is my opinion on it. This review contains spoilers so don’t continue reading if you don’t want to read them. Personally, I think it was an amazing movie that opened up a lot of opportunities for the MCU. Here are a few reasons why you should watch it.

The first reason I liked this movie is the crossovers. I think having characters from the “What if?” series like Peggy as Captain Britain was really cool to see. Seeing X-Man in this movie was really interesting and amazing as a fan of both X-Men and Doctor Strange. There are many other crossovers in this movie so watch it to see them.

They introduce two new characters America Chavez and Scarlet Witch, Scarlet Witch isn’t exactly a new character, but this is the first time we truly see her come out and have a lot of screen time. America Chavez is a superhero that can open star shaped portals to other universes and has super strength although in the comics she has many more abilities. Scarlet Witch is sort of an alter ego of Wanda Maximoff. You can see in the movie Wanda refers to Scarlet as a different person, even though they are in fact the same person. In the movie Scarlet is a broken crazy version of Wanda.

I love that we get to see Scarlet use her true potential. She would stop at nothing to get America Chavez’s powers so she can see her sons. She is cruel, and I will say, this movie is more on the freaky violent side than others so I wouldn’t say it’s for the faint of heart. It’s amazing how we see the difference between Wanda and Scarlet Witch and how much more cruel Scarlet is. You can see how much Doctor Strange has changed in this movie. In other movies, he wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice someone for greater good but in this, instead of taking America’s powers, he finds another way to stop Scarlet Witch.
